This 2 floor house sits south of the main road, at the edge of village Svetlina, in Haskovo region. It is in a very poor condition and is very overgrown but with a new roof, windows and doors, it could be a wonderful residence because of the amazing views.

From the top of the external steps, on a clear day, you can see the Sakar Mountains. Above the windows are delightful mosaics made from coloured glass. The house is made of a stone base with a brick upper.

From the staircase you enter into a central room with room 1 on the left and the bigger room 3 on the right. Both rooms have damaged ceilings from roof leaks. The floors are wooden as are the window frames. An old woodburner is still in room 1.

The room to the left of the entrance has wooden floorboards and the walls and ceilings have been plastered. There used to be a sink in one corner. Water and electricity require reconnection.

The central room has a fireplace, plastered walls and exposed wooden ceiling. The large room to the right has the stone work exposed and this lets the walls breathe.

The whole plot is 1760sqm with a flat garden, which is mainly behind the house. The road is asphalt but very overgrown. The lane leads directly to the forest beyond so this part of the village is very private. There is a roofless barn next to the house and the house behind is derelict so has no overlooking neighbours.

Location
Village Svetlina is in the north of Haskovo region, not to be confused with a village with same name in the west of the region. The village centre is north of the main road with a grocery shop, town hall and the houses are spread out. The nearest town is Toplovgrad, only 15 minutes drive.
